The BooksonDemand-Worldwide service is pleased to invite you to make the most of our new service, which offers you a cost effective solution to colour plates or colour insert pages when you print your book.
Traditionally, litho printed colour plate sections were not cost effective in the 1-250 copy book printing range. However, using the latest workflow technology alongside our industry proven digital colour printing presses, we can now offer you colour pages inserted anywhere in your book, for incredible low prices!
Digital Colour Printing
Working together with industry leaders Xerox and Canon, we have taken digital book printing to the next level - with near litho quality results.
Printing onto a range of coated and uncoated stocks, from 80gsm Opaque to 120gsm Gloss Art and beyond to 300gsm card stocks, we can arrange the insertion of colour pages for photographs and illustrations, or more bespoke solutions such as the insertion of perforated postcard inserts for your marketing needs.
The image to the left shows the halftone technique used by litho and digital printing presses (magnified, right). The positioning of the CMYK screens produces the colour variations and contrasts which are visible to the eye as a complete picture (left).
The digital presses used by BooksonDemand-Worldwide offer true 600-1200dpi printing resolutions, and as such maintain the quality associated with litho printing.
